Working at Omaha Division has been a dream come true for me. After high school, I bounced around majors in college about as much as I bounced around bartending jobs. I was always motivated, but was pretty aimless. This job has allowed me the first real opportunity to get as much out of it as I put in, and to really focus on realizing some concrete goals for myself.

Between the weekly up-front commission and the renewals that build up over time, I have experienced income levels that started higher than anything I have ever experienced, and continue to grow at an alarming rate. This has only resulted in increased motivation that rewards in dividends.

The companies we are contracted with run contests to win trips if certain goals are met. I am currently on track to qualify for a trip to Mexico with my girlfriend that will be all expenses paid for four days. If great commissions weren’t enough of a motivator, these definitely help.

All in all, this a career. It’s an office of hardworking like-minded individuals who work together to make sure everyone is succeeding. This industry can be overwhelming and difficult to manage, or to figure out by yourself. However, having this network of individuals who have been doing this for decades to help navigate the job is invaluable.

After losing my father in my early 20’s, I was lost and letting time pass me by. My brother had been working at ODIA for a few years, and I saw the success, freedom, and happiness that this job had provided him. These were all the things that I wished I had. In March of 2012, I started at ODIA, and it was the best career decision that I could have made at such an early age. Working as an hourly employee at an aerospace landing gear manufacturer was definitely not for me, and I knew that I had to make ODIA work.

Fast forward over a decade. The system at ODIA, from training, lead generation, competitive commission, vested renewals, and a supportive staff sets you up for immediate success. The most important thing to me is the work and life balance that you just don’t find in corporate America. It would have taken me 25+ years working my way up the corporate ladder to get a salary compared to my first year’s commission with ODIA.

Omaha Division has been there for me, and took a chance on me at a very young age. Which I don’t forget and I cherish. This job has not only given me endless opportunity for career growth but also personal growth. I can truly say that I would not be where I am in life without Omaha Division.

Prior to Omaha Division Insurance Agency, I worked for Frito Lays in the sales department. They were always changing your route and customers while trying to make you work for less money. I went from working 70 hours a week to 35 hours a week. ODIA has given me the opportunity to spend time with my family, as well as doing things that I enjoy such as fishing and golf, without feeling exhausted. In a short period of time, I went from having no holidays off to having every holiday off, as well as making 5x my Frito Lay income. ODIA has a proven lead strategy to get immediate income, and a career that has lasted me over 30 years.
